CISAGO publishes original digital books, audiobooks and other creative content. This page explains the rights granted to customers and the uses that require additional permission.
1. Ownership of Content
Unless otherwise stated, the copyright and intellectual property rights in CISAGO publications belong to their respective authors, creators or rights holders.
Purchasing a digital product does not transfer ownership of its copyright or other intellectual property rights.
All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
2. Personal-Use Licence
Unless a product page expressly states otherwise, purchasing a CISAGO digital product grants the purchaser a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the product for personal, non-commercial purposes.
This licence permits you to read or listen to the purchased content on compatible devices for your own personal use.
3. Permitted Personal Use
Subject to the applicable product terms, you may:
- Download and access the purchased files through the provided delivery method.
- Read or listen to the content on your personal devices.
- Keep a reasonable personal backup where the supplied format permits it.
- Print reasonable portions of an eBook for your own personal, non-commercial reference.
These permissions do not include redistribution or commercial exploitation.
4. Sharing and Redistribution
You may not, without prior written permission:
- Share purchased files with other people.
- Upload files to public websites or file-sharing services.
- Publish private download links.
- Resell or redistribute copies.
- Include the content in another digital product.
- Make the content available through a shared library or subscription service.
- Distribute copies to a class, team, organization or other group.
5. Audiobook Rights
Audiobook purchases are licensed for personal listening unless otherwise stated.
You may not reproduce, redistribute, rebroadcast, publicly perform or commercially exploit audiobook recordings without permission.
You may not upload complete audiobook recordings or substantial portions to video, podcast, streaming or file-sharing platforms.
6. Educational and Corporate Use
A standard personal licence does not automatically include rights for classroom distribution, corporate training, workshops or organizational use.
For educational, team or commercial licensing, please contact CISAGO before distributing or reproducing the material.

7. Quotations and References
You may quote limited portions of CISAGO content where permitted by applicable copyright law, provided appropriate attribution is given.
For uses beyond applicable legal exceptions, written permission may be required.
Attribution alone does not grant permission to reproduce or distribute substantial portions of a publication.
8. Adaptations and Derivative Works
You may not translate, adapt, abridge, narrate, repackage or create commercial derivative works from CISAGO publications without prior written permission, except where applicable law expressly permits such use.
9. Commercial Licensing Enquiries
For licensing enquiries, please provide:
- Your name or organization
- The title of the publication
- The intended use
- The number of users or copies
- The intended distribution method
- Whether the use is commercial or non-commercial
CISAGO will review requests individually.
10. Copyright Concerns
If you believe that content published by CISAGO infringes your intellectual property rights, please contact us with sufficient information to identify the material and explain your concern.
We will review legitimate notices and take appropriate action where necessary.
11. No Transfer of Rights
Except where expressly agreed in writing, no purchase, download or access arrangement transfers copyright, trademark rights or other intellectual property rights to the customer.
12. Applicable Law
Nothing in this Rights & Licensing page limits rights or exceptions that cannot legally be excluded under applicable copyright or consumer protection law.
